NEW PARIS – A two vehicle crash southeast of New Paris left a Syracuse man dead Saturday evening.

39-year-old Harry Wells died when his Chevy Impala struck a pickup truck at the intersection of County Roads 48 and 127 at 8:44 p-m.

44-year-old Howard Lehman of Syracuse and his five passengers in the pickup were taken to Goshen Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and complaints of pain.

The crash remains under investigation.
