ANGOLA – A man driving a moped died Saturday night in an accident near Angola.

Police responded just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday on a report of a vehicle crash on County Road 200 West just north of US Highway 20.

A southbound car driven by38-year-old Robert Watson of Angola collided with a northbound moped driven by 65-year-old Duane Boyles of Angola.

Boyles was pronounced dead at the scene by the Steuben County Coroner’s Office due to traumatic injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.

Watson was uninjured in the crash.
