BUTLER – A 16-year-old Bryan, Ohio girl was critically injured in DeKalb County crash between two pickup trucks Saturday evening.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department says 20-year-old Matthew Lechleidner of St. Joe was driving north on State Road 1 approaching County Road 40. 19-year-old Zadin McNalley of Edgerton (Ohio) was eastbound on County Road 40.
Witnesses say McNalley disregard the stop sign while approaching State Road 1. He entered the intersection and struck Lechleidner's truck.
Lechleidner, McNalley and McNally's passenger, 16-year-old Hailey Ward of Bryan (Ohio) were all injured in the crash. Ward suffered head injuries and was last listed in critical condition. Lechleider had back pain, and McNalley had head pain.
