SHIPSHEWANA – A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday near Shipshewana.
37-year-old Joshua Huff – whose address was unavailable – was northbound on 300 West near 700 North when he encountered some guineas walking in the road.
Huff was unable to avoid striking one of the birds causing him to lose control of the cycle before being ejected.
He was taken to Parkview LaGrange Hospital with abrasions to his head and arms.
