KENDALLVILLE – A large power outage affected portions of Kendallville Friday morning.
The outage occurred just after 8:30 a-m and affected several traffic signals in Kendallville.
Some East Noble Schools affected by the outage had to run on backup generators and serve alternative lunches to students.
I & M said nearly 17-hundred customers were affected by the outage which was caused by a bird nest in a transformer.
Power was restored by early afternoon.
