STURGIS – The annual St. Joseph County Mom 2 Mom Sale and Baby Expo happens this Saturday. It runs from 10 AM until 1 PM at the Doyle Community Center, 310 North Franks Avenue in Sturgis.
Over 50 booths featuring new and gently used baby, kids and maternity gear will be on display and for sale. Great start Parent Co-Liaison Chelsea Horsley says this is the Great Start Collaborative's only fund raiser of the year. Money raised from the sale is used to help cover pre-school costs for children in St. Joseph County.
In addition to the sale of clothes, there will also be some speakers doing presentations according to Great Start Parent Co-Liaison Lauren Dill. She says most of the time people would have to go to larger cities to hear these kinds of break out sessions.
The sessions include Parenting In A Digital World; Fertility Care; Breastfeeding & Birthing; and Happiest Baby On The Block.
Early Bird Admission is $5 and gets you in at 9:30 AM. General Admission is $3. You can see more on the Great Start Collaborative's Facebook page.
