GRANGER – An Indiana State Trooper who was shot Thursday night in his home is said to be in semi-stable condition after undergoing surgery.

Matt Makowski suffered a wound to his lower body.

His son is in juvenile custody charged with attempted murder.

The shooting took place at the trooper’s home in Granger around 11 p-m.
