ELKHART – A pair of Cass County residents face charges in the death of a ten-year-old girl last June.

The girl died after she and a sibling were taken to a home in Elkhart by the father – 34-year-old Brandon Hobbs and his girlfriend – 30-year-old Erica Reschke.

The girl had high levels of methamphetamine in her body when she died.

Hobbs and Reschke are charged in Elkhart County with neglect of a dependent...while Reschke is charged with neglect of a dependent causing death.

They are scheduled to go on trial May 6th.
