STURGIS – Three people were arrested on drug charges in Sturgis Friday night.
Sturgis Police made a traffic stop around 11 PM in the 1200 block of East Chicago Road. During the course of the investigation, officers became suspicious of the occupants.
K-9 Officer Tucky and his handler were brought in and during a search of the vehicle indicated the presence of narcotics.
The driver, a 29 year old Sturgis man is charged with false identification to police, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hallucinogens.
A 22 year old Sturgis woman is being held on charges of possession of meth and outstanding warrants for drug possession. A 29 year old LaGrange man is charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
