STURGIS – Even though they had to go through a restructuring, Sturgis Hospital is still open. Thunder Country’s Mike Stiles has an update.
During a visit Wednesday to the WBET Morning Show, Sturgis Hospital President and CEO Rob LaBarge says that some changes were made, but the Hospital is open, and offering a majority of the services they always have.
LaBarge says recently the Hospital was able to make a move to keep the Oncology Department open. Sturgis Hospital is partnering with Ascension Borgess, who will take over the billing and administrative duties, effective January 15.
LaBarge says if any one has questions regarding the services being offered by Sturgis Hospital, they can contact their personal physician or call 269-651-7824.
LaBarge says Sturgis Hospital is still working to find another hospital to partner with. He says they hope to have more information on that process in the near future.
