WHITE PIGEON – Authorities say the victims in Tuesday's fatal fire in White Pigeon have been identified.

According to WWMT, 35 year old Jessica Gould and 7 year old Lonnie Ray Bingaman were found on the second floor of a house in the 100 block of West Chicago Road near South Washington Street. They were identified by the Kalamazoo County Medical Examiner's Office.

The White Pigeon Fire Department was called to the house at 3 AM Tuesday. The Constantine and Tri-Township Fire Departments provided mutual aid and helped extinguish the blaze.

Seven other residents of the house were taken to the hospital. A dog was also found dead in the house, while another was able to get out.

The Michigan State Police Fire Marshal says the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it could have been part of an electrical issue.
