ARGOS – There’s been another fatal accident involving an Indiana school bus.

Just before 9:15 Wednesday morning an Eastern Pulaski School Corporation bus from Winamac was struck from behind by a truck after the bus had stopped for a railroad crossing on U-S 31 near Argos in Marshall County.

State Police say one student among the 39 on the bus died. Last night they identified him as 13-year-old Owen Abbott of Winamac. 14-year-old Zane Bell was airlifted to a South Bend hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Other students had complaints of pain.

Police identified the truck driver as 24-year-old Tylor Perry of Camby, Indiana. Toxicology results are pending.

The bus was headed to Warsaw for the Wagon Wheel production of Elf The Musical.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
