Two men stabbed, two arrested near Shipshewana

SHIPSHEWANA – A fight in the Shipshewana area on Saturday afternoon sent two men to the hospital with stab wounds and two others to jail.

The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department released information about the incident Wednesday.

They said deputies were called to the intersection of 200 North and 735 West at 1:32 p-m. While they were enroute they were told two of the subjects left in a tan pickup truck.

A second 9-1-1 call reported the tan truck was at the intersection of Harrison and Middlebury in Shipshewana.

Officers found Jordan and Adam Rinser suffering from stab wounds. They were taken to Parkview LaGrange Hospital.

38-year-old Myron Miller Jr. of Shipshewana and 28-year-old Chistopher Susaraba of South Bend were arrested on charges of aggravated battery and assisting a criminal.

They were held in the LaGrange County Jail.
