STURGIS – Sturgis Police have arrested one of the two men who allegedly assaulted and robbed an elderly man.

In a media release, Sturgis Police say they arrested 25 year old Andrew Jordan of Sturgis Tuesday, following a search of his home on Arden Park. He his charged with armed robbery.

Just after 6 AM on October 11, Sturgis Police were sent to a business in the 1200 block of East Chicago Road to investigate a strong armed robbery. Officers located a 70 year old man who said he was robbed by two white men inside the business. The victim was taken to Sturgis Hospital for treatment of injuries to his face and head sustained during the incident.
