HOWE – A crash at the entrance to the Toll Road injured two LaGrange County residents Wednesday afternoon.

Lagrange County deputies say an SUV driven by 55-year-old Elizabeth Philley of Topeka was stopped in the northbound lane at the stop light for the toll road entrance when she was struck from behind by a minivan.

79-year-old Beverly Mullins of Howe was driving the van and told police she thought the light was green.

Both drivers were transported to Parkview LaGrange Hospital for injuries that police described as minor.
