LIGONIER – The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested a 25 year old man from Ligonier Thursday morning on charges related to the possession of child pornography.

The investigation began at the end of July with a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Investigators obtained and served a search warrant at 8:15 a.m. Thursday. 25 year old Robert Paul Taylor was arrested at his residence and incarcerated in the Noble County Jail on charges of Possession of Child Pornography, Level 6 Felony, and Possession of Child Pornography (victims under age of 12), a Level 5 Felony.

At this time, additional examination of electronics is on going and the possibility of additional charges will be determined by the Noble County Prosecutor's Office.

The Task Force was assisted by the Noble County Sheriff Department, Ligonier Police Department, Fort Wayne Police Department and the Noble County Prosecutor's Office.
