Two Angola teens seriously injured in crash


ANGOLA – Two Angola teens were flown to a Fort Wayne hospital after the car they were traveling in hit a tree and rolled several times.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff's Department, the accident happened Monday at 4:15 a.m. on U.S. 20 just west of County Road 460 East, east of Angola.

Nineteen-year-old Nathan Costa of Angola was headed west on U.S. 20 when he left the roadway for some reason. Police said the vehicle struck a tree then rolled several times.

Costa and a passenger, 18-yearold Erik Jordan of Angola, were airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
