PVL to celebrate tenth birthday on Tuesday

LAGRANGE – Ten years ago Parkview LaGrange Hospital’s new facility received its first patient.

On Tuesday, July 17, the hospital will mark the tenth birthday of the hospital. The hospital invites visitors and guests to stop by that day for a birthday cupcake.

Hospital President Jordi Disler says “We are so grateful to everyone in LaGrange County and the surrounding area for the support they have given us during these past ten years. From the extraordinary care provided by our employees and physicians, to the volunteers who welcome patients and visitors, to the generosity of individuals and groups in the community who provide financial support through the Parkview LaGrange Foundation, all play an important role in making Parkview LaGrange a great place for patients to come for their care, for employees to work, and for physicians to practice medicine.”

As part of their birthday celebration, they’re adding a hydration station to the walking trail at the hospital. The unit provides three components, a water bottle fill station, a drinking fountain and a pet watering station. The hydration station has been funded by donations to the Parkview LaGrange Foundation and serves as a tenth birthday present for the community.
