South Clay closed for sewer work

STURGIS – Motorists are being asked to avoid a section of South Clay Street for the next few weeks.

The City of Sturgis announced Wednesday that South Clay Street between Wenzel and Florence Streets will be closed to thru traffic while the replacement of a sanitary sewer line takes place. The project should take approximately three weeks to complete.

Citizens are asked to seek an alternate route where possible and use caution in this area during construction.
