MASON TOWNSHIP – One person was killed in a Friday night crash.
Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke says 32 year old Gary May of New Haven was driving north on Kessington Road in Mason Township at 10:30 PM when he lost control of his Jeep for an unknown reason. He went off the road and rolled over several times. May was ejected from the vehicle, and pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say May was not wearing his safety belt. Speed and intoxicants may have been factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
