Sturgis supernintendent interviews start today


STURGIS – The first three candidates vying for the Sturgis Public Schools Superintendent position will be interviewed this evening.

The Board of Education will conduct the interviews with the guidance and assistance of Gary Rider, Regional President of Michigan Leadership Institute.

Today's interviews will be with Kristy Span, Executive Director of Education Services for the Brandon School District at 5 PM; Kevin Robyck, the Middle School Principal of Portland Public Schools at 6:30 PM and Nicole Airgood, Assistant Superintendent for Sturgis Public Schools at 8 PM.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend the interviews both tonight and on Tuesday. They will be held in the Board Room of the Sturgis Central Commons.

Superintendent Dr. Thomas Langdon announced last summer that he will be retiring at the end of March 2018.
