Justice building project moves to phase one

LAGRANGE – During a very brief meeting, LaGrange County Engineer Sarah Farlow gave county commissioners a quick update on the justice building project Monday morning.

Farlow said she’ll be meeting with the design-builder this week to initiate phase one of the project. That includes preliminary design work.

The commissioners approved an easement maintenance agreement for the site of a tower for the new fire paging system. County Attorney Kurt Bachman said it removes one of the hangups slowing the project but others remain and they are working through them.

Commissioner Terry Martin will hold another town hall meeting this Wednesday starting at 6 p-m in the County Office building.
