Sydney Witham is Corn School Queen


LAGRANGE – On a perfect night for early October, the finals of the Miss Corn School competition revealed the winners last night.

Sydney Witham -- a Westview High School senior -- was crowned queen. She is the daughter of Roger Witham and Tina Witham and sang for her talent performance. She plans to use the money she won last night for her college tuition. She wants to study vocal music at Berkley College of Music in Boston and become a professional musician.

Michayle Rasbaugh was first runnerup. She's a junior at Lakeland High School and is the daughter of Michael and Julie Rasbaugh.

Ashya Klopfenstein was named Miss Congeniality and won the Virginia Hart Schwinn award. Klopfenstein is a junior at Westview High School.
