Boil water advisory posted for Wolcottville residents

2017-08-14

WOLCOTTVILLE – The Town of Wolcottville is under a boil water advisory.

The advisory was issued Sunday evening.

Residents were told not to use water for drinking or cooking unless brought to a boil first.

A pump failure caused low pressured at a water tower, prompting the advisory. The pump's been repaired but 48 hours of testing is required before the advisory can be lifted.

That means the advisory won't be lifted until at least Tuesday.
