(WHITE PIGEON) – White Pigeon’s Central Elementary School is going to remote learning for the rest of this week.

In a letter sent out Tuesday, White Pigeon Superintendent Jon Keyer and Associate Superintendent Carrie Erlandson says the move to remote learning for Central Elementary is due to a significant number of positive cases and contact tracing for both the students and staff. Students will return to in person learning on Monday, January 24.

Student devices were sent home on Tuesday, so the children could be ready for classes today. Keyer says Thursday and Friday are still half days of school and remote learning will be from 8 AM until 11:30 AM each day. Attendance is required.

Parents are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher if they have any questions regarding instructional issues.
