(SHIPSHEWANA) – Authorities are continuing to investigate the death of a woman and her boyfriend.

According to the LaGrange County Sheriff's Office and the Indiana State Police, they are waiting for autopsy and lab results in the deaths of 36 year old Ashley Hargrove and her boyfriend, 38 year old Adam Leslie. Their bodies were found in Hargrove's house just northeast of Shipshewana on December 20.

Family members went to the house after not hearing from Hargrove for several days. They beat on the doors and looked through the windows and found Hargrove slumped over backwards in a chair.

Police believe this was an isolated domestic incident between Hargrove and Leslie. The matter does remain under investigation.
