(NEWBERG TOWNSHIP) – A Jones man was injured in a one vehicle crash in Cass County’s Newberg Township.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department 41 year old Adam Bistodeau was driving on Bair Lake Street near Wood Lake Road just after 11:30 Monday night, when he left the roadway and struck a tree.

Bistodeau was taken to Three Rivers Health to be treated for his injuries. It’s not known if he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and it’s believed alcohol may have been a factor in the incident, which is still under investigation.

Assisting at the scene were the Newberg Township Fire and Ambulance, the Michigan State Police and Cass County Animal Control.
