Southern MI. Men Arrested For Stealing Following Kentucky Tornadoes

(PRINCETON, KY) – Four Southern Michigan men have been arrested after they reportedly stole items from homes and cars damaged by tornadoes in Kentucky.

According to WWMT, the Kentucky Attorney General's Department of Criminal Investigations was assisting the Princeton Police Department with needs from the storms when they noticed the four men.

25 year old Sevon Gowen of Sturgis, is charged with possession of burglary tools, receiving stolen property, promoting contraband first degree and possession of controlled substance first degree meth. He's being held on a $7,500 bond.

27 year old Brandon Ransbottom of Bronson, is charged with possession of burglary tools, receiving stolen property, possession of a hand gun by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana. His bond is also set at $7,500.

Mitchell and Jesse Stanton, both 30 and both of Coldwater, are charged with possession of burglary tools and receiving stolen property.

All four are being held in the Caldwell County Jail.
