(CENTREVILLE) – The Centreville School District is beginning to search for a new Superintendent.

Stephanie Lemmer has submitted her letter of resignation, after accepting an offer to be the new Superintendent for the Battle Creek Pennfield School District. She was one of four finalists for the Pennfield job and was offered a contract.

Lemmer has been the Centreville Superintendent since 2017 and says this was a difficult decision for her. ...... {LISTEN}.

Lemmer will start her new duties with B.C. Pennfield on February 1. She says the Centreville Board of Education will hire an interim Superintendent, then begin the process to find a full time Superintendent.
