(UNDATED) – An online threat led to two St. Joseph County schools being closed on Friday.

Three Rivers Community Schools posted a message on their Facebook page that due to recent threats received through Ok2Say and for the safety of our students, all buildings in the Three Rivers School District would be closed on Friday.

White Pigeon Community Schools were also closed on Friday. In a posting on their web page, White Pigeon School officials say they are working with local law enforcement to investigate a threat made against White Pigeon Jr/Sr High School. Because of that, both the Central Elementary and the Jr/Sr High School buildings were closed.

School officials canceled Saturday's wrestling tournament, based on police recommendation. They will try to find a date to reschedule the event.
