(POKAGON TOWNSHIP) – A crash in Cass County's Pokagon Township injured two people.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says 20 year old Cloe Mittan of Niles was on M-51 near Thompson Road at 4:15 PM Tuesday and struck a box truck driven by 30 year old Raymond Bakos of South Bend. Bakos was backing into a driveway when his vehicle was struck.

Both Bakos and Mittan were taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries. A passenger in Bakos' truck, Tony Wilson, was not injured. Everyone was wearing their seatbelts.

The Pokagon Tribal Police, the Pokagon Township Fire Department and Pride Care Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
