Caldwell Co., Ky. — As clean up of a massive and historic twister continues in western Kentucky, the Kentucky Attorney General says four local Michigan men are accused of looting tornado damaged homes and cars.

In a news release, obtained by WLKI, officials say detectives saw four men in a neighborhood of Princeton, Kentucky.

Officials say the men were questioned by police. We’re told police learned the men had taken things from tornado-damaged homes and vehicles.

The attorney general's office says Mitchell Stanton and Jesse Stanton, both from Coldwater, were arrested and are facing charges of possession of burglary tools and receiving stolen property.

Officials say Sevon Gowen from Sturgis was arrested and is facing charges of possession of burglary tools and meth possession, among other charges.

Officials say Brandon Ransbottom of Bronson was also arrested. They say he was charged with possession of burglary tools and a handgun by a convicted felon, among other charges.

Princeton is located in Caldwell County, where the governor’s office reports four died from the storm on Dec. 10. That count was as of Wednesday.
