(UNDATED) – The 2021-22 school year started today for many of the Michigan school districts in our area.

Sturgis Public Schools had a half-day of classes for all grade levels today. Also having half-days were Colon, White Pigeon, Constantine and Mendon Schools. Centreville Schools start classes on August 30 and Three Rivers on August 31.

In Branch County, both the Bronson and Coldwater School Districts are having full day classes for their students today.

If you travel by school buildings, please remember to watch your speed, specifically during the morning and afternoon hours. Also, remember to adjust your speed when following school buses, and give them the proper amount of space when they are picking up and dropping off students.
