(POKAGON TOWNSHIP) – A woman and her son were injured in a one vehicle rollover crash in Cass County's Pokagon Township.

According to the Cass County Sheriff's Department, 34 year old Nicole Brant of Niles was driving south on M-51 near Crystal Springs Street at 1:30 AM Sunday with her 9 year old son, Caden Zimmerman. Her vehicle went into the embankment and then overturned.

Caden was thrown from the vehicle. He was treated at the scene by Pride Care Ambulance and then was flown by Med Flight to South Bend Memorial Hospital for further treatment. Brant was removed by first responders and taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
