(ALBION) – Noble County has COVID-19 Vaccines.
Noble County Health Officer Dr. Terry Gaff says the County has both the Moderna and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine available. However, only about one in five Noble County residents is fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Gaff says that's not enough to stop the spread of the virus.
If you would like to get a vaccination, you can schedule one by going on line. Click Here. Or you can call 211. Then chose the Noble County Library Albion site.
The Moderna Vaccine, which is a two shot process, is giving on Monday from 9 AM to 5 PM; Wednesday from 12 to 8 PM; Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The Johnson & Johnson Vaccine is just one shot, and is given this Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Gaff says you are considered fully vaccinated as follows: 2 weeks after you receive your second does of the Moderna of Pfizer vaccine; or 2 weeks after a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
If you don't meet these requirements, you are not fully vaccinated.
If you need to cancel a vaccine appointment, please call or text 260-564-4158.
