Whitmer Asks For Michiganders To Take Volunteer Measures

(LANSING) – Michigan has seen an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases over the last few weeks.

That prompted Governor Gretchen Whitmer on Friday to urge Michiganders to take several volunteer measures that would hopefully slow down the latest surge in cases and the number of people being hospitalized. Two of the measures dealt specifically with high schools around the state and dining in at restaurants. ...... {LISTEN}.

Whitmer also announced Friday that with this spike in COVID-19 cases, she is renewing her call for the federal government to send additional vaccines to Michigan.
