(QUINCY) – Quincy Village Manager Brittany Butler has a new contract.

During Tuesday's meeting, the Quincy Village Council approved renewing Butler's contract for one year.

Butler was hired to be the Quincy Village Manager one year ago, replacing Eric Zuzga, who left to work for the City of Marshall.

Butler's contract runs until January 31, 2022. Terms of the contract calls for evaluations of her performance at the three month, six month and one year anniversary dates of the contract. Unless Butler requests it in writing to the Village Council, those evaluations would be conducted in executive session and would be confidential as permitted by law.

Butler's salary has yet to be determined. That will happen during the Council's upcoming budget negotiations.
