Cassopolis Man Injured In Crash

(WAYNE TOWNSHIP) – A Cassopolis man was injured in a one vehicle crash in Wayne Township.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says 26 year old Joseph Badner was driving north on Ruby Road near Swamp Street just after 11 PM Monday when he struck the concrete barrier and went over the bridge. Badner was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be removed by the Wayne Township Fire Department and the Dowagiac Fire Department.

He was then taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital by Pride Care EMS.

Deputies say Badner was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. Also assisting at the scene were the Michigan State Police.
