(COLDWATER) – Authorities says the body of a man was found behind a downtown Coldwater church.

Coldwater Director of Public Safety Joe Scheid says the Coldwater Police Department and the Coldwater Fire Department were called to St. Mark's Episcopal Church at 11:55 Monday morning where they found an unresponsive man in the parking lot.

The 58 year old man was identified as being from Coldwater. Scheid says the man was dead and no life saving measures were performed.

No signs of foul play were found at the scene. The man's name has not been released.
