(FLORENCE TOWNSHIP) – One person is dead following a two vehicle collision Friday evening at the intersection of Dickinson and Sevison Roads.

Michigan State Police says a Chevy Colorado was traveling south on Sevison and failed to stop at the intersection of Dickinson Road. It then struck a vehicle that was traveling east on Dickinson Road.

The driver of the Colorado, identified as Clarence Bryant, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle, a GMC Sierra, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sturgis Hospital for treatment of those injuries. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
