(STURGIS) – Michigan residents will have another opportunity to get a COVID-19 test today.

The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency and Honu will be holding a drive-thru COVID-19 testing event from 1 until 5:30 PM today. It will be in the Maplecrest Plaza on East Chicago Road, outside of the Sturgis Health Department Clinic.

Testing will be available to Michigan residents on a first come, first served basis. Please bring your ID. Minors can be tested if they are calm and with a parent.

Nasopharyngeal tests will be administered to determine whether persons currently have COVID-19. Antibody testing will NOT be done at this event.

State of Michigan is covering the cost of testing at this event. Insurance is not required and no insurance cards will be requested.
