Carra Wants To Represent 59th District In Lansing

(UNDATED) – There will be a new face representing the 59th District in the Michigan House of Representatives starting in 2021.

Current State Representative Aaron Miller of Sturgis can not seek re-election due to term limits. There are three people vying for the seat in today's General Election. They are Steve Carra, who is the Republican representative, Amy East, the Democratic candidate, and Jack Coleman who is a write in candidate.

Carra says as he has campaigned around the 59th District many people he has talked to agree with his platform and what he will bring to the State House. ...... {LISTEN}.

While campaigning around the District, Carra says the concerns of the citizens are the same in both St. Joseph and Cass Counties. ...... {LISTEN}.

He says he is hearing most people are going to vote straight Republican ticket or straight Democratic ticket this year.
