(UNDATED) – Area communities are holding trick or treating for 2020 tonight, hoping that for one night kids can have a fun time despite COVID-19.

In St. Joseph County, Sturgis, Three Rivers, Constantine and Mendon will have trick or treating from 5:30 until 7:30 PM. Burr Oak will be from 6 until 7:30 PM. Centreville, White Pigeon and Colon's trick or treating hours are from 5 until 7 PM. In addition, Colon's drive through trick or treating at Community Park will run from 6 until 7:30 PM.

In Branch County, Bronson's trick or treating around the the City will be from 5 until 7 PM. Coldwater will have their trick or treating time from 5:30 until 7:30 while Union City is from 6 until 7:30 PM and Quincy from 6 until 8 PM.

Around LaGrange County the trick or treating hours vary. In the town of LaGrange, the little ghosts and ghouls will be out from 5 until 8 PM. Shipshewana's hours are 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Rome City, Mongo and Stroh's trick or treating will be from 5 until 7 PM. Also, in Wolcottville, the trunk or treat event at Farmers State Bank will be from 5 until 7 PM. Topeka will hold trick or treating from 6:30 until 8:30 PM.

In Steuben County, Angola, Fremont, Hamilton and Hudson will all hold trick or treating from 5 until 7 PM. Ashley will be from 5:30 until 7:30 PM and Orland will have trick or treating from 5:30 to 7 PM.

In DeKalb County, Butler will hold trick or treating from 4:30 until 6:30 PM. St. Joe, Garrett and Hudson will have their trick or treating from 5 until 7 PM while Ashley is from 5:30 until 7:30 PM.

In addition, YMCA Camp Eberhart is hosting a special Halloween Trunk or Treat event today from 1 until 3 PM at the camp, 10481 Camp Eberhart Road in Three Rivers.

Also the First Baptist Church of Sturgis is hosting their annual Halloween Trunk or Treat event today from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the church parking lot 1050 East Fawn River Road.
