(INDIANAPOLIS) – State officials in Indiana are adding more free COVID-19 testing locations.

State Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box announced the State's plan to have 95 more free COVID-19 testing sites by October 1. The move comes as a result of funding from the CARES Act.

Box made the announcement this week, saying that each site, managed by county health departments, would be able to conduct between 100 and 200 tests per day.

A new school dashboard that will break out positive COVID-19 tests at individual schools was also discussed. The dashboard would show positive case numbers, but not individual names or other private information in order to maintain confidentiality.
