(PORTER TOWNSHIP) – One person was injured in a weekend ATV accident in Cass County's Porter Township.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says at 2:41 Monday afternoon, 40 year old Timothy Krucina of Hobart, Indiana was driving an ATV in a bean field in the 10,000 block of Bair Lake Road when he believes he hit the front brakes, causing him to fly over the front of the vehicle. Krucina was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

He was taken to Three Rivers Health to be treated for minor injuries. Assisting at the scene was the Newburg Fire and Ambulance.
