Two People Taken To Hospital Following Collision

(UNDATED) – Two people were taken to the hospital following the collision of two vehicles.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 18 year old Michael Miller of Millersburg was traveling north on County Road 1200 West just after 9 PM Saturday, and came to the intersection of County Road 42. Miller failed to stop and entered the intersection, and was struck by a vehicle heading west driven by 27 year old Jeremy Hire of Ligonier.

Miller was taken to Goshen General Hospital for treatment of abrasions on his face and neck. Miller's passenger, 18 year old Lynette Eash of Topeka was taken to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne for an abrasion to her head.

Hire and his passengers, 30 year old Terrence Gangwer of Ligonier and 11 year old Evelyn Beers of Ligonier, all complained of pain in their sides, but were not taken to any hospitals.
