Three People Injured In Cass County Crash

(PORTER TOWNSHIP) – Three Northeast Indiana residents were injured in a two vehicle accident in Southwest Michigan.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says at 11:21 Friday morning, 20 year old Carter Ryan of Granger, Indiana was turning left from U.S. 12 into a private drive in Porter Township, and failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle and the automobiles collided.

Carter and his passenger, 17 year old Hunter Ryan of Granger were taken to Elkhart General Hospital to be treated for their injuries. The second driver, 50 year old Terry Folker of Goshen, was also taken to Elkhart General Hospital.

All three individuals were wearing their safety belts at the time of the crash.

Assisting at the scene were the SEPSA Fire and Ambulance and Edwardsburg Ambulance.
