(CENTREVILLE) – The St. Joseph County Finance Director and the County Commission refuted comments made by a citizen regarding the County's finances.

Carls also alleged that the Commission has been having secret meetings to discuss County business. Commission Chairman Dennis Allen said that the Commission does not meet in secret and everything they do is out in the open.
