(STURGIS) – The City of Sturgis says City Hall will be open more hours to better serve the public.

Beginning Monday, August 24, Sturgis City Hall will be open Monday through Friday from 9 AM until 5 PM.

Customers visiting City Hall should continue to plan on wearing a face covering in compliance with Governor Gretchen Whitmer's Executive Order, as well as maintaining appropriate social distancing while in the building.

City Hall has been closed to the public on Tuesday's for several years. This was done as a cost savings move for the City. It also allowed for City Staff to hold in services and do training, and not affect customer service.
