Humphreys And Rigby Want To Be County Treasurer

(UNDATED) – Two women who have experience in the department would like to be the next St. Joseph County Treasurer.

Kathy Humphreys and Tammy Rigby are both running for the Republican nomination to be on the November ballot and hopefully become the new Treasurer. Treasurer Judy Ratering says she is not seeking re-election when her term ends December 31, 2020.

Humphreys has been with the Treasurer's Office for over 15 years, the last 6 as Chief Deputy. She says she has been thinking about running for the Treasurer's position for quite some time. ...... {LISTEN}.

Rigby has been an employee with the Treasurer's office since 2011. In 2016 she was elected to be the Nottawa Township Treasurer. Rigby says the last four years have really helped her. ...... {LISTEN}.

Both Humphreys and Rigby say they look forward to serving the citizens of St. Joseph County if they are elected.
